Practice Areas: Ms. Hargrave's practice emphasis is family law. Ms. Hargrave's expertise is brief writing, especially at the Appellate Court level.
Ms. Hargrave received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics from the University of Iowa in May 1983. Ms. Hargrave was the recipient of the Thomas & Betts Scholarship, College of Business Administration in May 1982; Full Tuition Scholarship to Brown University's Ph.D. Program in Economics; and a General Electric Research Internship at Brown University in 1983. Ms. Hargrave entered the University of Iowa College of Law in August 1994 and was awarded a Juris Doctor Degree, with Distinction, in May 1997. Ms. Hargrave attended the Hofstra University School of Law Summer Program in Nice, France in 1996. She was admitted to the Iowa Bar in September 1997, and the Idaho Bar in September 1998. Ms. Hargrave has been in association with Stanley W. Welsh since 1998, focusing on family law matters. Ms. Hargrave is the author of "Practitioner's Guide to the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act," The Advocate, June 2001. She co-authored the Idaho Family Law Bar Exam Question for the 2000 and 2001 Idaho State Bar Exams. Ms. Hargrave's earlier career in nursing and experiences gleaned from raising two children have provided additional insight and compassion into the Family Law area and the needs of Family Law clients.
Ms. Hargrave is a member of the Iowa Bar Association, the Idaho Bar Association and the Idaho Bar Family Law Section. She is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Idaho.
